My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATION: Conroe, Texas
DOB: 04/11/2022 (Estimate)

Maisie is a Harlequin beauty. She also happens to be a big cuddle bug who thrives on attention and affection from her people. With a wagging tail and love for giving kisses, she is a spunky girl who loves playtime. She enjoys the fun antics of her canine companions in her foster setting.
While initially submissive, Maisie warms up quickly, embracing her foster siblings of all ages and sizes with open paws. Although she's never met a cat, there is a possibility she would do well based on her easy going personality. Her ideal home would be with older kids who can handle her enthusiastic jumps of excitement. While she loves the company of canine siblings, Maisie would also do just fine as the solo star of the show.
Maisie can't be left unattended during the day, as she has a mischievous streak that leads to some counter surfing and trash diving antics. Thankfully, she's kennel trained and potty trained, making her no problem to manage when her humans are away.
When it comes to energy levels, she is a delightful mix of mellow couch potato and playful pup. She loves lounging indoors, but don’t get too comfortable because she also enjoys getting her zoomies on outside…You go silly girl!
While Maisie may need a bit of work on obedience training, she's a quick learner with a willingness to please. She knows the basics like sit, down and stay. She walks fairly well on a leash with minimal pulling and is eager to explore the great outdoors. Although she's still unsure about car rides, she manages them with grace and poise. She loves both men and women. She adores attention and will beg for you to pet her all of the time.
One thing to note about this beauty is her aversion to loud noises, which can startle her. With a gentle and patient approach, her confidence will continue to grow, allowing her to blossom into the perfect companion for any loving family. If you're ready to welcome Marvelous Maisie into your home, get ready for a lifetime of snuggles, playtime, and fun loving frolics!

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are scattered all over the United States in many different states. Scheduling a meeting would not be a problem. We hold many events throughout the year. You can find the latest news on our facebook page or website.

More about this rescue

To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.

To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.

We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
