Hi, I'm Your New Best Friend, Georgie!

I'm your go-to gal for fun and affection! Outdoors, I'm a ball of energy, always on the lookout for bunnies, squirrels, or birds to chase. But don't worry, I'm easy to redirect if I get a little too excited. Once we're inside, though, I transform into a big cuddle bug, wanting nothing more than to be in your lap or by your side. I have had a rough start in life and when C.A.R.E. picked me up from Animal Control I was not able to open my eyes.  Thankfully they helped me the next day by taking me to the Vet where I had surgery so now I can see and healing!

Toys, bones, you name it – I'm all about it! I can entertain myself for hours, especially with a chew bone or a favorite toy. But let's be honest, I'd much rather play with you!

Meeting new people is the best! I'm super friendly and affectionate with everyone I meet. As for other dogs, I'm curious but a bit unsure, so for now I would like all the attention in the house.

Treats are my weakness, and I'll take them gently from your hand. Plus, I'm a quick learner! I've already mastered finding my way around our new home, including your specific apartment door. With a little training, I bet I could learn all sorts of cool tricks!

I may have had a rough start, but I'm resilient and full of love. I don't mind being left alone while you're at work – I promise I won't be destructive! And at night, I'll snuggle up with you in bed and sleep like a champ. Oh, and road trips? Count me in – I love car rides!

I'm looking for a family who'll give me lots of love, playtime, and cuddles. With your patience and care, I'll be the best companion you could ask for!

Ready to make me a part of your family? I can't wait to start making memories with you!

I have been spayed and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
