Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I’m Hugh — a snuggly, gentle older gentleman with excellent house manners and a deep appreciation for naps. I may look a bit like a baby seal, but don’t let that fool you… I’m really just a calm, sweet soul who works for snacks and loves a cozy spot on the couch.
I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so I like to take introductions slow. But once I decide you’re one of my people, I’m incredibly affectionate and loyal. I’m the perfect couch potato, happily living my lazy life — stealing hearts, giving soft kisses, and settling in for long snoozes.
When I’m not relaxing at home, I enjoy gentle nature walks and sniffing all the new smells. I’m also the classic “nosey neighbor,” keeping tabs on the comings and goings outside so I can report back when you get home. Someone’s gotta keep watch!
I feel most comfortable in a calm, adult-only home where life moves at a steady pace. I also prefer to be your only pet, but I promise I have more than enough love to make up for it. I’m potty-trained, know sit, down, and shake, and I’d be grateful to have someone by my side during storms and fireworks.
If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly companion who will lounge beside you, make you laugh, and keep your household running with lighthearted neighborhood updates, I just might be your guy.
My digits are APA-A-134891 — I’d love to meet you.
