Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A Golden Girl who loves runs and snuggles!

Meet Betty White: The Agility Queen Who’s Ready to Steal Your Heart!

Introducing Betty White, a 4-year-old black Pit Bull and German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a love for life! Betty is playful, agile, and absolutely great with other dogs and kids, making her the perfect addition to an active family. She's a true beauty, both inside and out, and can't wait to find her forever home!

About Betty White:

  • Age: 4 years old

  • Breed: Black Pit Bull & German Shepherd mix

  • Personality: Sweet, playful, and full of life!

  • Good with: Other dogs and kids! Betty thrives in social settings and loves making new friends.

  • Not a fan of: Cats—Betty enjoys chasing cats a little too much

  • Special talents: Betty is incredibly agile and loves to run, jump, and play. Whether it’s a game of fetch or agility training, this girl’s got the moves!

  • Requirements: 6 Foot Fence; Specialized food due to allergies

Betty White may have a big name, but her heart is even bigger! She’s looking for an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit and give her the love she deserves. If you’re ready to welcome this agile beauty into your life, Betty can’t wait to meet you!

Betty White has been with the Rescue for years now.  We cannot for the life of us understand why this amazing girl hasn't found her furever home yet!  We believe that “Fur-st Impressions” are very important, so we encourage you to schedule a meet and greet with Betty White before applying to see if she is the perfect fit for your family by emailing us at Fur-stImpressions@pathofhoperescue.com.  A completed Adoption Application will be required after the meet and greet to move forward with Betty White’s adoption.

Why wait to meet your perfect companion? Our adult dogs are ready to bring love and joy into your life. Contact us today to set up your meet and greet with Betty White!

Betty White is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the Adopting for Path of Hope Rescue Section). Our adult dogs are ready to bring love and joy into your life, and there is no better time than now. Give an adult dog a new home, and you choose the minimum donation amount!

What is Path of Hope’s Adoption Process?

Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days.

  1. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!).

  1. Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process.

  1. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family. (The process may differ slightly for long distance adopters.)

  1. Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time.

  1. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member!

Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue

  • Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.

  • Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.

  • Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250.  Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.

About Path of Hope Rescue

  • At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes.

  • We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment.

  • Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.
