My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala is a 1.5-year-old Pittie mix who is ready to find her home! This shy girl is hoping to find people who are ready to go slow and be patient with her. She`s a sweet and sensitive girl who takes her time to warm up but once she does, she becomes a devoted companion who`s always ready to play or accept attention.

Nala would love to find a nice, quiet place with people who are okay with going slow and using treats to help build this girl`s confidence. She loves to make doggy friends and spend her time sunbathing! Nala`s ready to find her people. They`ll get to watch her blossom into the silly and playful dog she`s meant to be. Could that be you? Come meet her today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
