Rusty is a joyfully sweet cat who can and will wiggle her way into your heart. Her favorite spot in the world is riding or resting on her human companion's shoulder. Rusty is usually in a favorable position of having the upper paw or head start! She is a free-for-all kitty and hides her power, but you will soon see-through Rusty's influence! Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Rusty will be a gentle playmate with another cat. She should do okay with a cat-friendly dog. Rusty is solid black with a short coat. She has light green eyes and demure whiskers! As of March 2025, Rusty is 9 months old. Her adoption fee is $100.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
