My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gorilla - The Tiniest, Classiest “Gorilla” You’ll Ever Meet

Don’t let the name fool you. This Gorilla isn’t swinging from vines or pounding her chest… unless you count the gentle purrs she drums out when she’s happy.

This elegant black and white tuxedo girl is more glam than gorilla. Think red-carpet ready, whiskers perfectly styled, and a heart that goes soft the moment she trusts you. She may sound fierce, but the only thing she’s conquering is your lap and your love.

Gorilla is sweet, curious, and full of quiet charm. She’s the kind of kitty who tiptoes into your day, curls up beside you, and somehow becomes the ruler of your heart without ever raising her voice.

If you’ve always wanted a Gorilla you can actually cuddle, here’s your chance. Come meet this gorgeous girl today… she’s ready to gently purr her way into your home.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
