Chip is a lovable companion with a heart full of joy and a sensitive soul. Friendly and playful, Chip thrives on connection and loves making people smile. Whether he’s chasing toys in the backyard, soaking up the sunshine, or enjoying a stroll around the neighborhood, he approaches life with enthusiasm. Despite an old injury, Chip’s zest for life is unstoppable, and he’s always ready for his next adventure. But also always ready for a nap too as he’s not super energetic! Car rides are fun and easy easy for this cool dude 😎
Chip listens to direction and is incredibly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He already knows how to sit and lay down, place, crate and off!
Chip would be a fantastic match for a home with another dog, as he adores the companionship of both people and canine friends- medium to large size! Cats? Probably not as he is prey driven when squirrels and little critters are around!
Chip is gentle with the kiddos and so well behaved in the home! Chip is potty trained, crate-trained and we really want to emphasize that he’s literally perfect in the house, he doesn’t beg for food, he respects boundaries, he doesn’t counter surf, he’s the best mannered one in the house (humans included 🤭).
