My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a little firecracker with a whole lot of love to give, look no further than Kai! This total cutie is as spunky as they come and lives for the spotlight—he will do just about anything to make sure all eyes are on him.
Why Kai is the Ultimate "Good Boy" in Training:
The Perfect Socialite: Kai is a friend to everyone! He does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children.
A Big Personality: He can be a little bossy at times (he just knows what he wants!), but with a little time, patience, and leadership, he settles right down and behaves like a perfect gentleman.
Growing Up Fast: Kai is currently in his "wild child" phase, but he’s expected to be a perfect medium-sized dog once he’s fully grown.
His Forever Mission:
Kai is looking for a home that embraces his playful energy and "wild child" spirit. He is the kind of dog that will only get better with age, maturing into a loyal and perfect companion for years to come.
If you want a dog who will keep you laughing and fill your home with life, Kai is ready and waiting to meet his forever family! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
