Muffin is a domestic shorthair who was brought to us in July 2024 along with her mother and 4 siblings!
Unfortunately, growing up, these guys didn’t receive much socialization so when they came into our care to go up for adoption they were some of our most skittish residents!
Fortunately, all of Muffin's siblings and their mother have found their home but Muffin is still on the search for her furever home! Muffin is the shyest of the bunch and just recently have started to come around due to her transition to the adult rooms at our facility! She is still a little skittish from time to time with new people but with a calm voice and slow approach she will become your best friend! Muffin is quite docile and loves affection and treats more than anything!
If you are interested in meeting Muffin (and possibly even Pudding), please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.org

More about this shelter
Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.
We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.
Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
