My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yuki, a sweet senior brown-and-white tabby with a calm, loving personality. She was surrendered through no fault of her own due to her previous owner’s allergies, and she’s now ready for a cozy new home. Yuki is wonderfully chill, she loves lounging and napping, but don’t be fooled! She’ll happily get up from her comfy spot just to ask for some attention. She’s a big fan of snack time (especially her kibble) and greets you with the cutest little meows when you enter the room. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys the quiet comforts of home, Yuki could be your perfect match.

Yuki's adoption fee is donation based (choose your price) which covers up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, FeLV/FIV testing and much more!

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Yuki please submit an application online at www.valleyanimal.org or stop by in person during our open hours!

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
