My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bueller? Bueller? Meet Ferris! This handsome boy is all about BELLY RUBS! Ferris would absolutely love to go to an active home with lots of playtime! Are you adventurous? Due to Ferris' spirit and curiosity, we think he would make an awesome hiking partner too. Ferris loves to play, his boundless energy making him the perfect companion for walks, park visits, or just an energetic game of fetch. He truly is a triple threat - handsome, smart, and silly! Ferris is friendly with female dogs that can match his energy, however, Ferris isn't a fan of cats, so a feline-free household would be ideal for him.
Take a chance on this friendly guy and let him show you his true. sweet-as-can-be self!

Ferris' adoption fee is covered by Stanley Steemer, with an approved application. Apply at ghhs.org!

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
