The Honest Truth (Because You Deserve to Know):
LeeLee is a work in progress, and she wants you to know it upfront! She's currently working with multiple trainers to learn that humans are not chew toys, and sometimes she still gets a little too enthusiastic with her "love nips" (read: demand/attention bites). They don't break skin, but they CAN hurt and might leave your favorite shirt with some battle scars. She's making progress, but she needs someone committed to continuing her training journey.
She's Got Opinions About Moving Objects
Cars? MUST CHASE. Bicycles? ENEMY DETECTED. LeeLee has a strong prey drive (hello, Malinois genes!) and will lunge at passing vehicles and cyclists. We're working on it with her trainers, but she needs a strong handler who can manage her on leash and continue this training.
Morning Person? You Better Be!
LeeLee thinks 5 AM is sleeping in. She's got places to go, things to sniff, and energy to BURN. If you're not a morning person... you're about to become one.
She's Bougie About Her Food
Her tummy is sensitive, so she's on the gourmet meal plan (translation: expensive special food). But hey, she's worth it, right?
What Makes Her Amazing:
100% potty trained ✓
Crate trained like a champ ✓
LOVES other dogs (though she plays like a bossy little sister who won't take no for an answer)
Incredibly sweet when she's not being a tiny tornado
High energy = built-in personal trainer/hiking buddy
Classic Mal personality in a slightly smaller package!
Actively in training with a professional team - we're investing in her future!
The Dream Home:
No young kids (those teeth, remember?)
Cats = maybe? (TBD)
Dog-friendly homes welcome! She'd love a playmate who appreciates her... persistent... play style

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

Home Check
We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.
