😍 Rue — the Queen of Snuggle & Sass! 👑

Hey y’all, I’m Rue — short for Rue de Street, because I was found strutting down the road in Orange Mound like I owned the place. My rescuer said, “Hop in!” and I said, “Say less,” and jumped right in the truck. Smart move, right?

I’m a 42-lb Memphis Mix (translation: part Pittie, part mystery, ALL heart). I love car rides, couch cuddles, and being your loyal shadow. My absolute favorite thing in the whole world? Snuggling — on your lap, against your side, or anywhere I can be close.

I’m playful, goofy, and down to wrestle toys all day… then crash hard by 9PM. I adore people and think every human I meet is my new BFF. When it comes to dogs, I prefer slower introductions — I can be a little dog selective, so a meet-and-greet is a must to make sure we’re a good match!

I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully ready to make your life 1000% happier (and your couch 1000% cozier). 💁‍♀️✨

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support is an all volunteer 501C3 non-profit all-breed rescue group that helps abandoned, neglected and lost pets. We are intensely devoted to helping pets find their forever home.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
