Daisy entered the Humane Society of Imperial County as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim her. She lived at the shelter for 1 year, 7 months before becoming a Frosted Face on November 14th.
We are so happy Daisy is here and look forward to matching her with the amazing forever family that she deserves!
Daisy is estimated to be 9 years old and weighs 50 lbs. She is super sweet, friendly, and loves to meet new friends!
Daisy is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home setting. Her Fling Mom shared a great first update:
"Daisy spent her first 24 hours with us just dozing on the couch. She wraps herself with a blanket all on her own. It took her a day to relax, but now she’s eating very well!
Daisy is so gentle and friendly with everyone. She is an excellent family dog! She enjoys walks and can easily go a few miles. She even ran around at a park.
Daisy seems to be totally potty-trained and exhibits zero separation anxiety when home alone. We need to wake her up when we get home!"
Check back for the next update from Daisy's fling!
