Meet Scarlett, an adorable one-year-old female Great Dane/Lab mix! Weighing in at 70 lbs, this sweetheart considers Valentine's Day her special birthday. Scarlett was surrendered to a partner shelter due to her owner's health issues, but she's ready for a fresh start and a loving forever home.

With her goofy ears and playful spirit, Scarlett is currently being fostered at Daisy's Pet Playground, where she's thriving. She's friendly with dogs and has a gentle demeanor, making her a great companion. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she would do best in a home without young children.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
