Like the marshmallow, but a little more shy, and a lot more real.
I’m an almost 2-year-old grey tabby girl with the softest fur and an even softer spirit. I’m not the kind of cat who runs to greet you at the door or climbs into your lap on day one. In fact, I’ll probably need some time to watch from a distance, learn your voice, and figure out that you're safe.
But here’s what I do love: other cats. I feel most comfortable around confident kitty friends who show me the ropes and remind me the world isn’t so scary. If you’ve already got a friendly feline or two, I just might find my courage a little quicker.
Once I feel secure, my gentle personality starts to shine. I’ll quietly follow you around, blink at you from across the room, and slowly build a bond that’s deep and real. I’m not flashy or fast, but I am loyal, sweet and worth the wait.

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
