My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He`s here to claim the title of silliest boy in the shelter: it`s Hachi! Hachi is a 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, ready to show you just how sweet a big dog can be. At 85lbs, this boy has the look of a polar bear paired with a sweet and fun-loving nature that`s impossible to pass up.

Hachi loves to have playtime with his friends (fetch is his favorite!) and say hi to everyone he sees! He`s incredibly friendly and is hoping you`ll become his new BFF. Still a young boy, Hachi is on the hunt for a home who will help him learn just how big he is but with his love of treats, he`s bound to pick it up quickly.

Hachi wants a home + you want Hachi to find a home = Come meet him today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
