Rogelio is a young cat full of big personality, who cannot wait to make new friends like you! He is friendly, affectionate, and very talkative. He loves to chase, pounce, and kick his toys. Rogelio loves his floor to ceiling scratching pole and can be found jumping up and down so he can find just the right place to scratch! He loves to rub against your legs and get all the attention you have to offer. He can be sensitive about having his tail area touched as that is where he has an old, healed injury that impacts his ability to know when he needs to use the litter box. He is very communicative about his needs, wants, and sharing what he sees in the world around him.

Rogelio is looking for a unique and welcoming home that will support his medical needs and embrace his boundless zest for life and affection. He is looking for a home with a large catio with plenty of perches, scratchers, and lookouts. He is also seeking a family understanding of his medical concerns as well as celebrating his buoyant spirit.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.

To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. First, we ask that you complete our Adoption Questionnaire at kittenrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/. You can complete the form online or you may stop by a weekly adoption event to complete form in person. Second, a home visit or a home delivery of the cat or kitten is also required as part of our adoption process.

The Kitten Rescue adoption fee is $150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, and $100 for each additional kitten or cat to the same household ($250 if you adopt a pair). Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.

All of our cats have already been:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated – with at least one FVRCP vaccination
Treated for fleas
Dewormed
Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
Microchipped

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
