If you are looking for a big, beautiful, good luck charm who will bring love into your life - look no further! I am silky-soft and full of sweetness. I'm a confident boy who doesn't need to have the companionship of another cat around to make me happy, as long as I get to have your love! I don't mind other kitties as long as they don't mind me. I don't have any positive experiences with dogs so I would prefer living in a home without them since I think they are scary. I also would love older children to play with me who are old enough to be gentle with me. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
