Meet Lady Catherine! This gorgeous long-haired black kitty is as elegant as her name suggests. Lady loves to play and will happily chase toys or zoom through cat tunnels. She also enjoys relaxing while you brush her silky coat, which is a major source of pride. She gets along well with other cats when introduced slowly and properly, making her a great fit for a loving home with furry friends. Lady is a confident girl who knows what she likes, and she’ll let you know if something isn’t her cup of tea. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
