Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my furiends! The Scruffy Paws family has a bonded sister-brother duo ready to meet and greet you! Please welcome Tootsie and Snickers, approximately a year and a half old and just the sweetest pair of grey and white kitties!
Tootsie (female) and Snickers (male - all pink nose!) love attention and cuddling with their person. They are super playful with toys and each other and are big foodies, especially Tootsie with her wet food and treats - no free feeding these two; these two are on the path to chunky monkey-dom and need a little help monitoring their treat intake.
Smart little kitties - they know their names! Tootsie mainly responds to Toot (she does have some stinky farts) and Snickers to Snickerdoodle as that is their nickname foster mom gave them. Snickers loves to be up in cat trees, and Tootsie likes to sleep in things like mop buckets, the sink, or couch center consoles. A curious duo, they like to follow each other around, get into things, and see who can hide the most toys. If you are looking for your spoon or fork - ask Tootsie; one of her hobbies is stealing utensils - wrappers and straws are her new favorite klepto items.
Tootsie is an FIP survivor. Tootsie and Snickers were originally part of a litter of 4 and came in with their semi-feral momma. Unfortunately, 2 passed, presumably by FIP, before we figured out what illness we were dealing with. Luckily, Snickers did not get FIP, but that does not mean he isn't a carrier of the Coronavirus, which could mutate into FIP. FIP can mutate when the cat is under a large amount of stress, so a low stress home is best.
They do great with other playful or nurturing cats and calm, respectful dogs. They like to play with the other foster kittens and cuddle with the nurturing cats. Tootsie and Snickers love a good window-watching session - especially Snickers! They can initially be a bit nervous about new people, but as long as you show them love, they quickly come around. They can also be skittish with loud noises and quick movements (loud, energetic dogs freak them out), so a quieter house with adults or older, respectful kids would be best. This entertaining duo will bring lots of love, laughter, and entertainment into your family!
Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.
