Lady Jade is a wonderful, sweet 7 year old female Belgian Malinois. This distinguished girl loves women and kids. Men scare her. She is not aggressive with men, just tucks her tail and runs to hide. It is sad to say, but Jade has not had the best life. Loud noises will startle and can scare her. She is scared of t.v.s, even if the sound is off. A little patience and understanding will help her get better, but these fears maybe with her for the rest of her life. Jade gets along with dogs with slow introductions, however she is an alpha female so male dogs are preferred. (Jade will not get along with another alpha female dog,) She also prefers small groups as a lot of dogs at once can overwhelm her. She enjoys going for walks and jogs, in fact a good run makes her happy. Currently she goes on a 4 mile jog a few days a week. She is not a huge toy fan, but will play with a good toy or fetch a ball for 15 minutes or so. She does love to play in a sprinkler or in the spray from a water hose. While Jade will be as active as you want to be, she is a very laid back girl and loves a good cuddle or a nap during her day too. #madloveladyjade

Interview
We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
