My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact my foster at: dr6432@gmail.com

Meet Raven! I have never had a more affectionate dog, attentive to my facials and body language. She loves to cuddle, lay next to you and be in the same room. She attaches quickly to her guardian. Raven and my Pyrenees play great together, running and wrestling. She is potty trained and crate trained. Although she was found/picked-up in the Charlotte area, it is clear her previous owner has done some training with her!! She almost never barks (only when my dog barks she joins in). Raven loves walks; she pulls a little but is a fast fix with the right collar. I have had her 5 weeks now and I’m amazed at how she has assimilated from “on her own in the wild” to feeling safe and loved. If I did not have my daughter’s dog, I would definitely keep her. She is going to make the right family very happy.

If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
