My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact my foster at TOREY.PARSONS@GMAIL.COM

Deja has a happy little spirit and she is just waiting to find a family that will give her all the love she deserves! She bonds quickly to her people and will soak up every bit of love that you give her. This fun loving girl is hoping to find a furever home where she will be able to explore and sniff around on walks, enjoy the sun on her little body and rest on comfy beds with some adorable zoomies thrown in the mix!

Highlights on sweet Deja:

Cute red brindle coloring + winky ears with the most adorable smile ever!
House trained + not at all destructive when left out in the house
Easy on leash + enjoys sniffing
Gets excited little hops + twirls when getting ready for a walk
Has the cutest zoomies!
Enjoys exploring her outside area, laying in the sun, going on walks + checking in on her person
Perfect medium energy (enjoys walks but also likes toys, exploring her yard + snuggles)
Sleeps soundly through the night in her bed
Super sweet snuggle buddy, loves to watch TV with her person at the end of the day
Knows sit + likes treats
Rides well in the car + gets excited to go on adventures
Loves meeting people + getting pets when out + about
Loves laying in the grass for belly rubs after a little walk
Did great for her recent spa day at PetSmart
Not in foster with another dog but had successful parallel walks with other dogs while at the shelter + has met dogs of multiple sizes while on leash in foster (positive body language)

If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
