Say hello to your perfect couch companion: Marigold! This angel came to us as a rescue from a building foreclosure in west Philly, so not too much is known about her past. What we do know is that Marigold is an extremely laid back and well-mannered cat that loves long naps in your lap, belly rubs, and the occasional churu. She is extremely affectionate toward people, but not so much to other cats, so we believe it is best for her to be an only child. She would probably be best suited to a home with just adults, as she enjoys reclining more than play-time. This golden girl makes herself at home very quickly, and will take no time at all to get herself familiar with the closest cushion or sun-spot to lay in. She can become a little bit chatty if it's food time, and she will definitely let you know when she wants attention! Overall, this golden girl is quite the catch, and one thing is for certain: she can't wait to cuddle up to you!

Meet the Pet
After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

Sign Adoption Contract
After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Cats ages 1-9 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108

* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
