Meet Ruby – the Sweet and Serene Rat Terrier mix.

Ruby is an 8-year-old rat terrier with a heart full of love and a calm spirit. She spent her entire life in a quiet, loving home until her beloved daddy was placed into long-term care for Alzheimer’s. Now, she’s looking for a new family to share her gentle soul with.

Ruby is a quiet and sweet girl who enjoys leisurely walks and exploring her surroundings at her own pace. She walks beautifully on a leash and is perfectly content lounging nearby or finding a sunny spot to nap.

Having come from a peaceful home, Ruby would thrive in a similar environment—one where she can feel safe, loved, and unhurried. She is fine with children and other dogs, though she’s not one to join in the chaos—she prefers doing her own thing and being a quiet observer.

If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing companion with lots of love to give, Ruby may be your perfect match. Let’s give this lovely girl the soft landing she deserves.

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
