My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Apollo! 🐾
This 4-month-old Shepherd mix is as adorable as they come — with a heart as big as his paws! Apollo is affectionate, gentle, and eager to please, making him a perfect fit for just about any home.

He’s already crate trained, housetrained, and leash trained, and he knows his basic commands. Apollo is food motivated and incredibly intelligent, which makes training a breeze. He’s also a total cuddle bug — yes, he thinks he’s a lap dog, and he’ll gladly snuggle up for some quality time.

Apollo is fantastic with other dogs, gentle with cats, and loves kids (even the tiny ones!). He rides well in the car and is always ready for an adventure or a cozy night in.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s full of love, charm, and potential, Apollo might just be your perfect match. 🐶💛

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Found an animal on our site and want to meet them or find out more about them? Fill out the adoption questionnaire located below and submit to us. Once we have reviewed/approved your application, we will provide you with the foster contact information so that you can find out more and arrange a “meet and greet”. All of our animals are located in foster homes throughout the Triangle area.

When going to a “meet and greet”, please make sure you take any family members and other pets (if at all possible) to observe their interactions. This can make introduction into the new home easier for the animals and for you.

The animal’s foster parent will ultimately make a recommendation to the organization regarding the permanent placement of the animal. Once an adoption decision has been made by both parties, we ask for an adoption fee to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food and supplies – this amount only partially cover the cost of expenses and allows us to help as many animals as possible!

What if the adoption doesn’t work out? We have a lifetime return policy on our animals as we don’t want to see them turned back into a shelter.
