My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is a 1 – 2 year old mix. He is small and our guess would be part samoyed, spitz or elkhound. He weighs aout 40 pounds. He is good on a leash and loves dogs. Duke is a fun guy who loves to play with dogs and people. He is shy when first meeting but loves pupperoni. Duke was rescued from the south whn on the euthanasia list. He was very fearful. He is out of his shell as his several pictures reveal. He hangs out right now with a bunch of large females and feels like the ladies’ man. He is crate trained. He loves being active outside. Duke can be very shy at first but once comfortable you are his best friend. If you are interested in meeting Duke, please email tristateshepherdrescue@gmail.com for and application.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires upon inquiry by an adopter, an adopter's applying for a dog(s). Once the application is submitted we give the applicant the contact information for the adopter for them to meet the dogs in who they are interested. We ask they bring the family - including other pets - and spend time with the dog (s). We review the application and also suggest other dogs who maybe of interest.
Once the applicant has chosen to adopt, we conduct a home visit to make sure the home and the dog will have a great life!
