My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oso – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! 🐾

Looking for a sweet boy to share your couch and your heart? Meet Oso, a 3-year-old Husky mix with the sweetest disposition and a mellow personality that will instantly win you over.

🐶 About Oso:

Male | ~65 lbs | Husky Mix

Up to date on shots

Neutered & Microchipped

Potty trained ✅

Crate trained (as long as he has a chew toy to keep him happy!)

Great with other dogs 🐕

Mild mannered, calm, and affectionate

LOVES to snuggle and relax on the couch with his favorite humans

Oso is the kind of dog who’s just as happy going for a stroll as he is curling up beside you while you watch your favorite show. He’s looking for a loving home where he can be part of the family and soak up all the love (and maybe sneak in a belly rub or two).

If you’re ready to add a loyal, laid-back companion to your life, Oso might be the perfect match.

More about this rescue

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
