Robin is a sweet 6-month-old Cavalier King Charles with a heart full of love! She’s a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll be your loyal companion for life. Robin enjoys the company of people, and respectful dogs,. Her playful side shines when she feels comfortable. If you’re looking for an affectionate pup ready to bring joy to your home, Robin is eager to meet you!
Like all puppies, she’ll benefit from gentle structure and positive training to help her settle into her new family and routine.
Robin is fully vetted. She has been Spayed, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of her adopter.
Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She’s searching for her own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse!
IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or preferably someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy may not be the right choice.
We adopt in the local Chicago metro area only. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for Robin the first step is to fill out an application for adoption on our website at:
Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is a volunteer in home foster based rescue, We do not have a physical location.

To adopt any animal from Rescue Tails we require a completed and verified adoption application. Once we can review the application, we can set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household including pets are available for us and prospective pet to meet. Providing that goes well, we will set an appointment with you for a home visit. If all goes well we can proceed to the final step of finalizing the adoption.

Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is dedicated to rehoming pets from high kill shelters. We choose an animal one at a time and evaluate what issues caused the animal to end up in the shelter and address those issues. Most often we find behavioral issues and/or medical issues . We deal with whatever it is to the best of our ability and then place the pet up for adoption to a responsible pet guardian. It is our goal to prevent the pet from returning to the system again. We work with the pets and carefully match them to their forever homes.
