Meet Justin – Patiently Waiting for His Second Chance

Justin has been at the shelter for over 9 months, and every day he greets us with the same gentle eyes — hopeful that today might be the day someone finally chooses him.

At about 1.5 years old and 50 lbs, Justin is a handsome pit mix with the sweetest soul. When he first arrived, he was scared of the world — every sound, every touch. But with time, patience, and kindness, he’s begun to trust again.

Once Justin knows he’s safe, his true personality shines through: playful, loyal, and so full of love. He enjoys rolling in the grass, tossing toys in the air, and leaning in close for affection.

Justin is dog-friendly with proper introductions and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. He’s been through a lot, but this young boy has so much life and love left to give.

It’s time for Justin to have a home — a place where he’s not just another face in the shelter, but part of a family.
