My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Barnaby, a handsome blue and white boy with a heart as big as his name.

Barnaby came to us on October 14th after a tough start. He spent much of his young life crated in an apartment, often without the food, water, and care every dog deserves. Despite that, this sweet and resilient boy has nothing but love to give. He is eager to please, friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, and deeply grateful for every bit of attention he receives.

The shelter environment has been very stressful for Barnaby. His best pal Benji was adopted a couple of months ago, but Barnaby is still waiting for his turn. He struggles with the noise and confinement, and it is clear he would do much better in a home where he can decompress and feel secure.

Barnaby is roughly 2 years old and high energy. He loves to play, but he is also incredibly affectionate. He knows sit and off, walks best with a little guidance on leash, and would thrive with someone who can provide consistency, structure, and plenty of love. He is ready to be the active, happy dog he was always meant to be.

After everything he has been through, Barnaby still greets the world with a wagging tail and a forgiving heart. He is ready to find a family who will love him the way he has always deserved.
