Meet Carl, the first extraction from the hoarding house. Carl is an ol' boy but don't let that fool you, he's got spunk! He tolerates other cats, but as an older guy he does prefer to nap alone or with his human! Carl was found severely emaciated and in overall poor condition. With a bath, flea/tick and ear mite meds & a proper diet - he is good to go! Carl is approximately a 10 year old male. He is neutered, FIV/FELV negative, UTD on his vaccines & microchipped. We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
