My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Trixie!**

This sweet girl came to us as a stray and, sadly, was never claimed. But we were lucky enough to uncover her name—and now, she`s ready to find her forever home!

Trixie is as sweet as pie and officially up for adoption! ?? If we had to guess, we’d say she might be a mix of mastiff, boxer, Blue Tick Coonhound, and pittie—though her breed mix is a mystery, one thing is crystal clear: she’s an absolute doll! ??
She’s also a “leaner,” which means she adores staying close to her people. Her future family will be so lucky to have her by their side.

We estimate Trixie to be around 5 years old. While we haven’t introduced her to other dogs yet, slow and careful introductions to cats are recommended in a new home. We’d also suggest a home with older kids (aged 10+)—not because she’s grumbly, but simply because we don’t have any history on her yet.

Pictured here is the oh-so-sweet Trixie, showing her affection with her new friend, OCHS staff member Ashley! ??

Could you be the one to give Trixie the love and care she deserves?
