🐾 Meet Maude, Dorothy, Blanche, Sophia, and Rose! 🐾
These adorable pups, affectionately known as "The Golden Girls," are currently at a high-kill shelter in Georgia and are hoping to catch a ride to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on May 10, 2025. 😊🐾
At just 10 weeks old, these little ones are full of energy and puppy antics! They love to play, cuddle, and explore their surroundings. While they may be small now, they are expected to grow into larger dogs, likely a retriever-shepherd mix. 🐶
They need an ADOPTER or FOSTER to secure a spot on the transport truck, or they won't be able to make the trip! 😔😢
Help these sweet pups find their forever homes or a loving foster family. Let's give Maude, Dorothy, Blanche, Sophia, and Rose the chance they deserve! ❤️

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it’s the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
