Meet Orion!
Orion has never met a stranger, he loves all the people and dogs that he has met during his time at the ranch. Orion is a curious guy with an impressive jump so a secure yard is a must in his future home. Orion loves to be active and go on long walks, he would be the perfect adventure buddy for hikes and runs.

In addition to adopting from our main facility, we also have pets at our new resale store/adoption center, some Albuquerque PetSmart stores, and other locations visited by our mobile adoption vehicle.

More about this shelter
Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
