My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kay Rose is the longest guest in our cat room.
She is a sweet, quiet girl. After months in the cat room, enduring hundreds of often noisy visitors, she might be a tad shy and a little thorny. But like the rose, those thorns serve to protect a beautiful, sensitive soul. Kay Rose just needs a little time to warm up, but when she does, she just might let you rub her belly. She loves a calm environment. Kay Rose likes to be the only cat.

Kay Rose eats special dry food for her sensitive digestive system - Hill’s Prescription Diet Z/D (4 lb bag - $29). She eats about 1/2 cup a day. She’s well worth it!

Kay Rose is a lovely brown tabby with big, dreamy, green eyes that don’t miss a thing.

Come meet Kay Rose. Spend some time with her and fall in love. Apply for her at ghhs.org.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
