My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skelly is a handsome black-and-white Domestic Shorthair. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his sweet and affectionate side truly shines. Skelly enjoys quiet company and would love a calm home where he can take his time to build trust and show off his loving personality.
He’s not a fan of loud noises or lots of hustle and bustle, so he’d do best in a home without small children. We’re not sure yet how he feels about other cats or dogs, but with a patient introduction, he might do just fine.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with plenty of purrs and love, Skelly might just be your perfect match. Apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
