💔🐾 Meet Guero – The Gentle Husky Who Just Wants to Feel Safe Again 🐾💔
Six-year-old Guero’s world was turned upside down when his elderly owner could no longer care for him and his blind/deaf senior poodle brother. Both were surrendered to a tiny rural shelter in Santa Cruz County. The poodle was quickly rescued… but Guero was left behind. 💔
Day after day, this beautiful boy cowered in his kennel, quietly waiting. When someone finally came to meet him, he army crawled out on his belly — desperate for comfort but too scared to believe it was real.
Now, Guero is safe with Paws Without Borders, and beneath that timid heart is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. Once he feels secure, his gentle spirit and sweet personality shine through — reminding everyone just how resilient love can be. 🥹✨
⸻
