Meet Sampson, a handsome, nearly two-year-old pup weighing in at a happy 62 pounds! After a brief adjustment period, Sampson has truly blossomed, revealing his active, joyful, and playful spirit. He's full of life and ready to bring endless fun to his forever home.
Sampson is a smart cookie who's not only mastered "Sit," but is also fully potty and crate trained – no accidents after his first week! While he knows "Lay Down" and "Stay," he's a bit of a stubborn sweetheart and prefers to be in your lap than on the floor, especially if treats aren't involved!
This boy is extremely playful and loves to chew, so a home with plenty of durable dog toys is a must – and vigilant tidiness is key, as shoes, stuffed animals, and even remotes can become tempting targets if left unattended! He's fairly good on walks, staying by your side with just a slight pull if an irresistible scent catches his attention.
Sampson is a social butterfly, fantastic with other dogs – he even eats politely alongside them with no signs of food aggression. He's also a true gentleman and remarkably gentle with his human friends, big and small. He's been observed playing tug-of-war happily with his four-year-old foster sister, showing his gentle nature. Sampson is generally quiet, rarely barking, and absolutely loves to cuddle and be by your side. A true water enthusiast, he even enjoys bath time!
If you're looking for a loving, lively, and incredibly cuddly companion who's ready to learn and grow with you, Sampson might be your perfect match!
