My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Nova – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Say hello to Nova, a ridiculously cute 3-year-old French Bulldog with one floppy ear and a tongue that just won’t stay in — and trust us, it only adds to her charm! 😍

Nova is the total package:
✨ Gets along great with other dogs
✨ Super playful and full of life
✨ A certified cuddle bug who adores human affection
✨ Has a personality that will steal your heart in seconds

Whether she’s chasing toys, playing with her pup pals, or snuggling up for a cozy nap, Nova is always spreading joy wherever she goes.

She’s ready to find her forever home — could it be yours? 🏡💕

If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and oh-so-lovable companion, Nova is your girl! 💖

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
