Cat is a registered off the track Thoroughbred who raced under her Jockey Club name, Off Track Firstcat. She is a descendant of Secretariat. In her racing career, she had 17 starts from 2002-04 with earnings totaling $6,131. She was born and bred in NY by John J. Dillon.

Cat is a very easy-going, sensible companion mare. At the farm where she was both raised and retired to a broodmare, she loved to play in the creeks and balanced her motherly duties while being covered in mud from her water playtimes. During her re-homing assessment she was very friendly and it was clear to see that she has a gentle, maternal presence for the whole herd. She shares her grounded personality with those around her, is easy to lead and patiently awaits her turn for attention and treats.

Sweet Cat has developed some mild arthritis in her golden years and is looking for a safe home to continue to fulfill her purpose as a steady, loving companion.

She can be herd-bound, but has no other vices. Cat willingly accepts flyspray, shots, orals, and baths. She stands for both farrier and vet.

Courtesy Listing - This equine is currently being cared for by her owner in Greenville, VA but needs to be rehomed. Current owner needs to downsize for health reasons and is moving to Florida. They sadly cannot bring their horses with them.
