Age/Birthdate: 08/15/2020 • Weight: 74lbs • Breed Guess: Pittie Mix • Fully Vetted: Yes • Adoption fee: Her adoption fee has been generously sponsored!
Any Medical or Special Needs: She is a tripod but it does not affect her day to day life!
Temperament with:
Dogs: Not a fan
Cats: Not a fan
Children list specific ages: She has not been tested around children and would most likely do best in an older teen/all adult home.
Strangers: Can be weary at first but will warm up with patience and treats!
Training Needs:
Crate Trained: Not crated as she is not destructive and doesn't need to be!
Potty Trained: Yes
Freeda is a RESILIENT and loving 5-year-old, three-legged Pit Mix who lives life to the fullest. Weighing around 74 lbs, she is full of energy and affection. She can be a little selective with other dogs and may show some reactive behavior initially, so she’s best suited as the only dog in the home, though she may enjoy a carefully introduced furbaby sibling.
Freeda is fully potty trained and doesn’t require a crate, preferring to relax and roam freely indoors. She loves long walks, playing fetch, and spending time in the grass. Bath time and water are some of her favorite activities, and she has a particular love for strong chewy toys and squeaky toys.
She thrives on human companionship—adoring belly rubs, hugs, and snuggling in bed. She is good with children ages 7 and up. While she may bark at strangers, it’s just her way of expressing caution, and with patience and consistency, she warms up to new people.
Freeda is a loyal, protective, and loving girl who wants a committed home with plenty of love, attention, and room to play. She enjoys a mix of dry and a little wet food and is looking for someone who will appreciate her spirited personality and strong bond.
