The sweet Melanie can come across as shy at first, but give her just a moment to sniff your hand, and suddenly you won't be able to stop her from asking for more and more pets! Whether she's nuzzling your hand with affectionate headbutts, leaning into booty scritches, or flopping over on her side to stretch her paws out in pure relaxation, you will find yourself in awe of her cuteness!

More about this rescue
Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.
Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
