My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kona arrived as a stray. She is a big girl and loves people. We are guessing her to be 3 pulse years. She is very selective of her doggy friends.

She keeps her kennel clean and loves her toys.

If you have interest please stop in during our regular business hours to meet and apply for him. Dogs do not go home the same day as meeting--we review applications first.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
