Helloo friends! My name is JAGGER and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
RESCUE STORY - I was born on the streets of Mexico. My mama, Yuli (now "Birdy", a successful WCP adoptee!) and siblings were rescued in early 2023 and were all adopted by loving families. Sadly, I was too scared to be captured and I hid from the rescuers and remained living on the street until the Fall of 2024, when my rescuer was finally able to catch me! I was taken to the vet for a routine check up and vaccines, where they found that I was malnourished and underweight but generally healthy. I am now lucky enough to be fostered by the same person who rescued my mother and siblings. They know what a special boy I am and know I deserve to find my loving forever home!
TEMPERAMENT - After spending my puppyhood on the streets, I am understandably shy and nervous when I meet new people. I have never shown any signs of aggression, but I take a little while to warm up to new people. Once I'm a bit more comfortable, though, I am extremely affectionate and loveeee getting cuddles and pets (video1, video 2). I am an active boy who loves to play with my foster brothers and sisters, big and small. I enjoy going for walks and am getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling. I'm generally not reactive towards cars or people, but I may occasionally lunge at barking dogs, cats or squirrels. I'm looking for an adopter who will help me work on this! I'm a super smart boy, so I'm sure I'll learn fast! After some daily exercise, I love to take a nap in the sun or cuddle up with one of my foster siblings. Oh also, good news! I don't show any resource guarding behaviour with food or toys. One thing to note is I'm quite an agile boy who can jump very high (video)... so if my forever family has a fenced backyard, they should be vigilant because I could probably jump over it! Did I mention I'm cool as a cucumber in the car? I'm the ultimate passenger prince (video)!
ENERGY LEVEL - Medium - I’ve got a great blend of energy for adventures and chill for cuddle seshes. I need an active family who will give me the exercise and play seshes I need. But once I'm mentally and physically exercised, I am happy to snooze and cuddle!
GETS ALONG WITH:
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around cats/squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
