My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, I'm Phoenix! Yeah, I know, dramatic name, but hear me meow-t! I was found in a burn barrel, skinny as could be. Talk about rising from the ashes! And guess what? I was solid black, but now I'm getting all sorts of cool colors coming in! I'm like a walking, purring rainbow!

They knew I'd blossom, and boy, were they right! I'm a total sweetheart, purr-ofessionally cuddly, and love playing with toys. Don't let the sweetness fool ya, though! I'm not afraid to start a wrestling match with my siblings. And a Great Dane? Bring it on! I get along great with everyone, cats and dogs alike.

So, if you want a resilient, loving, and paw-sitively gorgeous kitty who's not afraid of anything (except maybe empty food bowls), then come meet me! I'm ready to reign supreme in your heart!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
