My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Harry and I’m a very sweet and cuddly 13-month-old Cocker Spaniel boy who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe nudge your phone away when I think you need more snuggle time). 😂 At 19 lbs, I’m a bit underweight but now with regular yummy meals, I expect to grow a little more into my adorably oversized ears and paws. I’m basically a fluffy tornado of love and mischief! Check out my video!
I’m what you might call a “velcro dog” — I absolutely LOVE being around my people and don’t really understand this whole “personal space” thing yet. I’ll crawl dramatically back into your lap if you try to set boundaries because, let’s be honest, it works every time! 😆 I’m happiest when I can give you kisses, get gentle brushing (it’s so relaxing!), and just be your shadow around the house. I love all humans including kids but since I’m so active older dog-savvy kids would be best.
I’m still learning the ropes of being a good boy. House training? Working on it…I’m smart and learning quickly especially on a schedule. Respecting your space? Getting better every day but with I’m still a puppy so I admit this skill is harder to remember! I LOVE LOVE LOVE playing with other dogs, so a playful furry sibling would be absolutely perfect for me. Cats probably not so much. Car rides used to scare me, but now I know they mean adventures and treats, so count me in!
My past might have been rough — I was pretty scared of crates at first — but I’m learning they can be cozy with the right toys and comfort. Just don’t leave me in there too long, okay? I also have what’s called a juvenile cataract in one eye but the nice ladies here are taking me to the eye vet to see if it can be treated.
I need a patient family who’s around a lot and ready to continue my training with structure, consistency, and LOTS of love. In return, I promise endless affection, entertainment, and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes that’ll melt your heart every single day.
Ready to be my forever family? I can’t wait to meet you! 💕 You can submit an application to adopt me here, www.floridacockerrescue.org. ADOPTION FEE: $400
