My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to this big guy. Frank came to us from Lee County Domestic Animal Services. He was found keeping cool under a tree in a friendly community and turned in hoping his family would come for him, but no one ever did. Frank is the sweetest boy who loves everyone he meets. He loves to play, and catches pretty good too. If you are looking for a companion to go on walks, play fetch or catch and cuddle with in the evening, he may be just what you need.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this handsome guy today?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
